You have to be very versatile to compete consistently in the multi-species series. In one tournament you could be fishing for bass and walleye at one event, then chasing pike and trout at the next event. It takes planning and a solid strategy to compete in this series.
Enter Alex Rojas, he has the planning and strategy down. He finished the 5 events with strong finishes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th. The cumulative score gave him the points to win the 2019 Angler of the Year.
CKFC’s first person to win AOY twice (2016, 2019)! Congrats to Alex Rojas!
